What is Poltergeist (2015) about?
This film is a remake of the original and classic horror film that was made in 1982. It is based on a close-knit family who have multiple spirits haunting their new home. At first the ghosts appear friendly and playful, but then it turns for the worst when the spirits hold the youngest sibling, Maddie captive.
Would horror lovers enjoy this film?
By remaking the Poltergeist modernises the story and improves the quality of special effects used. However, it is understandable when people get annoyed, after a classic horror film is unnecessarily remade. This review is purely judging the film, as if we had not seen the original, and this was the first time knowing about this movie.
