What is Annabelle Comes Home about?
Annabelle Comes Home is a horror film about the Annabelle doll that gets placed in the Warren family home museum for safe keeping. The doll is placed in a glass cabinet that was from a church to keep it more secure from the outside world. This is until their daughter’s baby sitter’s best friend comes over uninvited and chooses to look around the Warren’s family house. She finds the museum full of many incredibly haunted and cursed items and tries to contact her Father who passed away in an accident she was involved in. By attempting to bring her Dad back to see him, this invites lots of other spirits that were kept in this room for a reason. This is including the Annabelle doll. Are they able to contain the spirits back in the museum though instead of them being realised? Watch the horror film Annabelle Comes Home to find this out.
Would horror lovers enjoy this film?
I think so. The movies based in the Conjuring universe always manage to build up suspense so well, having you hiding behind a pillow or a duvet. Annabelle Comes Home is a jump scare, suspense built, creepy film. What makes this story line even scarier is that it is all based on the real Warren’s family museum, which includes the doll there as well as many other haunted items that should not be touched. The concept of real life having an impact on horror films always makes it that extra bit scary when watching it and is one of the only times that I get scared when sleeping on my own after watching them. Overall Annabelle Comes Home is a pretty good horror movie and I really think you’ll enjoy it. It has a hell of a lot of suspense!
