What is Poltergeist (1982) about
The Poltergeist is based on a close-knit family who have multiple spirits haunting their home. At first the ghosts appear friendly and playful, but then it turns for the worst when the spirits kidnap the youngest sibling, Carol.
Would horror lovers enjoy this film?
This film is a classic horror, that back its day used top of the line special effects but is now a bit cheesy to watch. The characters are well written, but the action can be predictable and takes a while to build up. The poltergeist theory makes it sound scarier than it is. This is due to several of the characters passing away after the production of Poltergeist 3 and the myth that the set was haunted.
