What is Split about?
Split is a horror film that was directed by M. Night Shyamalan in 2016. The film is about a man who has multiple personalities. Most of his personalities are friendly, but there is one that he doesn’t like many people seeing. That is the personality of the beast. The man with many different personalities, ends up kidnapping a small group of girls, and it is up to them to try to figure out how they can escape. They must use his different personalities to attempt to trick him into giving them freedom. Do these girls end up escaping? What is the beast like? What Split to find out these answers.
Would horror film lovers enjoy watching Split?
Split was the most frustrating film we’ve ever seen our lives. Why on Earth is M. Night Shyamalan directing something that could have been dropped down from the Gods?! This film is about a man with many different split personalities. He ends up kidnapping three young girls, who try to convince one of the many personalities (the friendliest one) that they should be able to escape and that he should help them. We don’t want to give away any spoilers to this film, but the ending is the stupidest thing we’ve ever seen. The director goes ahead and spoils the ending with the most unrealistic, ludicrous, insanely terrible ending, making you want to scream at the TV/ cinema screen hoping that he hears your pain. We honestly would have rated this film anywhere between 80 – 90%, until I saw the ending and the review had to be dropped miles down.
