What is The Invisible Man about?
The Invisible Man is a horror film about a woman who is a victim of a wealthy, controlling, violent, manipulative, emotional and psychical man in a relationship. At the beginning of the film, it shows her following her plan to sneak away from the house that he has trapped her in. She sets off the alarm on her escape, but she is still just about successful. After hiding away from him for a small while, she sees on the news that he has commit suicide. This makes absolutely no sense to her, because he would never do something like this. However, she is relieved that he will no longer be a threat to her wellbeing anymore. Or at least that’s what she thinks… More and more mysteriously insane things keep happening that makes her believe that he is haunting her. She can’t get away from the spirit of him too, as everywhere she goes he is following her and making problems happen that then get blamed on her. Can she ever get away from him? Is he haunting her or is something else going on? Watch the horror film The Invisible Man to find out.
Would horror film lovers enjoy this film?
After seeing the trailer for this film, it looked truly awful. The story line looked massively unrealistic, even for a “ghost” type horror! I was dreading going into watching this film and thought that it would be a waste of time, but once again I was proven wrong and learnt that you should never judge a book by its cover (or a film by its trailer!). I mean, of course the story line is a bit unrealistic, but not to the extent that I thought it would be, and it somehow made it understandable. If you love horror films then I think that this could be something fun for you to watch, just don’t take it too seriously and you’ll enjoy it.
