The Black Eyed Children

The Black Eyed Children

The topic of the black-eyed children is something that we’ve stayed far away from on purpose. Until now.

This is because, in all honesty it scares the hell out of me. Being from the United Kingdom myself, where most of these cases were reported it almost feels too close to home to do my research on this urban legend, but I figured, it’s time to put my fears aside, and let you, the horror lovers know all about it. Even though it is quite frightening, it’s so entertaining, and I myself can’t even stop thinking about it.

Today I’m going to be sharing with you some crazy information about the black-eyed children. Buckle up, it’s about to get creepy.

The black-eyed children stories started off with people mentioning that they saw a child, who would ask them to either come into their house, car or wherever they are staying. They would keep asking this, and even if you say no they will keep insisting. Their insisting becomes more and more aggressive each time. You cannot make out their eyes, as they are completely blacked out. People have stated that they have felt an incredibly strong sense of anxiety when meeting a black-eyed child, and that the fear sticks with them for the rest of the evening as they don’t feel that they just spoke to a human being. This is why they called the black-eyed children.

The legend states that the best thing to do in this situation, is to find a way to get away from the child, and ideally call the police. What makes this legend stand out more than most though, and what truly keeps me up at night is the amount of evidence that there is out there. Something that you’d originally think to only see in a horror movie, is now being covered all over the news, by popular news outlets, and even supposed footage is all over the internet of the black-eyed children. Of course, with anything that becomes popular you are likely to see fakes of it, but here is some of the most believable videos that I found online that attempt to prove they are real.

Even popular Youtubers have claimed to have had an encounter with the black-eyed children before.

Youtubers have gone as far as trying to find these black-eyed children, but from everything that I saw I truly believe that most of these are most likely fake. However, that is to be expected when something becomes popular. But one thing that I do find even crazier about this legend, is how many books that out there speaking about real interactions with them, and people (not just youtubers) but authors and paranormal seekers have spent their professional careers focused on this. This legend has even inspired horror movies. I really want to know what you guys think of this though? Is it legit, have any of you had any encounters with them? I’m personally sort of on the fence about this urban legend, however it does creep the hell out of me!
