What is The Woman in Black about?
The Woman in Black is a horror film that focuses on the protagonist named Arthur Kipps (acted by Daniel Radcliffe) who is sent to a village for a work-related incident. He then becomes fully engrossed by a haunted house that he sees. He starts to notice soon that there is more to this house that meets the eye. This is because the spirit of the woman in black lives in this house and is responsible for the murders of the children in the village that he has been sent to. Does he manage to stop her though? What would horror lovers think about this film?
One thing that shocks us most about the horror film, The Woman in Black, is that in the United Kingdom this film is rated 12A, meaning that anyone over twelve can see it, or anyone under so long as they are accompanied by an adult. This has got to be the scariest 12A film that we have ever seen! In all honesty we thought that this film was at least a 15 after we saw it. Of course, there are far more horror films out there that are scarier then this one, but none of them have been given the age rating of a 12A. This is why we felt that we couldn’t rate the film any higher, as compared to any of the films on our top ten horror films list, then this just simply does not compare.
