What is The Conjuring 2 about?
The Conjuring 2 is a horror film that is about a family who are being tormented by the supernatural. This attack by the supernatural is as strong as an unstoppable force that they must take care of. A couple who specialise in supernatural behaviour are on a quest to get to the bottom of what is really happening.
Would horror lovers enjoy this film?
The story of The Conjuring 2 is something that does not scream “potential”, however, never judge a book by its cover, or a film by its trailer. We saw this film at the cinema and it scared the hell out of us. The film is like a roller coaster of horrors. One moment your calm and relaxed, the next you can see the suspense building and the drop is intense. The film has a twist in the ending too, making it even better. What we found especially interesting about the Conjuring 2 compared to another horror films, is that with this film, it was able to achieve fear in the audience whilst the scene was in the day time. Literally 99% of super natural horror films rely on it being the night time in a scene to add suspense, but this film was somehow able to make it scary even with a lot of the characters together, in the day time. I sounds silly to focus on that, but we just found it really impressive. Eff Your Review would definitely advise horror lovers to watch this film. We don’t think they’ll regret it.
