Clown (2014)

What is Clown (2014) about?

Clown is a horror film that follows the story of a Father who puts on a clown costume and pretends to be a clown at his sons birthday. He first does this because he knows that the clown that he arranged to come is not able to make it there. However, he soon realises that he can’t take off the costume, as it slowly starts to take over him more and more. The Father starts to distance himself from the people that are close to him, because he is worried that the clown costume is going to fully take over him and consume him. How far will he go to remove this clown costume from his body? Watch the horror film named Clown to find out these answers! Clown is currently on Netflix, so if you are a member to this service then you can watch it on there.

Would a horror film lover enjoy Clown (2014)?

The film itself isn’t badly made, but in terms of calling it a “horror film” it definitely doesn’t deserve to call itself that. This is one of those “trash horrors” that people watch and laugh about the story line. Not as bad as some of the other “trash horrors” but still, not great. The story line was just such a ridiculous one and we were able to predict pretty much every thing that happens in this film. We don’t even think there was an horror in it, other then the villain at the end and the creepy looking clown costume. But those two areas really didn’t it too much justice. If you’re a horror addict like us, you can definitely go without watching this film. It did feel like a bit of a disappointment when watching it unfortunately.
