What is Child's Play about?
Child’s Play (1988) is a horror film about a serial killer named Charles Lee Ray (nicknamed Chucky) who transferred his soul into a toy doll, in order to make him continue living. He is full of hatred, and kills many people who get in the way of his plans. This film has recently been remade, and you can watch the remake for the Child’s Play horror film (2020) on Netflix. Would horror lovers enjoy Child's Play?
We went into watching this film, expecting it to be terrible, but we were so wrong! This film is so funny, unique and a brilliant watch. We would advise people who watch this film if you have a dark sense of humour. However, this website reviews and rates horror films, meaning that we have to give it a review for horror. This film really isn’t scary at all, but was just a really good film overall. We wished we could have given it a higher review though, but it’s seen as a horror when we felt that it was more like a comedy.
