Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones (2014) definitely gives an interesting take on the Paranormal Activities series. We will admit, we do find it very interesting that all of the films are connected in some way, and we do admire that in a series. However, we just didn’t find this film particularly scary in anyway. There were a couple of great opportunities in this film where (after the jump scare) it could have led onto something petrifying, but it just didn’t. Brilliant new approach, just not in a horror sense unfortunately.
