The Vault (2017)

What is The Vault (2017) about?

The Vault is a horror film that has been directed by Dan Bush in 2017. The film itself is about a group of bank robbers who attempt to steal money from bank. The process is all going according to plan, but then one of the victims explains that the real money is in the vault on the floor below. It strikes the group of bank robbers interest and they then proceed to infiltrate it, until they soon realise that everything is not as it originally seemed. They start to realise that they might not be the only people on the floor below. What could this mean though? This film is currently on Netflix right now, so if you are a member to this service then you can watch this on there.

Would horror lovers enjoy this film?

This film took quite a long time to get scary, but when it did, it was actually really good. The Vault isn’t necessarily the type of horror film that you would even remember being one, but when you watch it you will understand why it is in that genre. The film additionally has quite a few very well known actors too. This includes James Franco and Taryn Manning (from orange is the new black). The jump scares were actually scary, which is not something we’d expect from such a Hollywood type cast. Overall, not the best horror film at all. Far from it. But miles away from the worst. We wouldn’t watch again, but we’re glad we saw it the first time.
