Friday the 13th Part 3
Friday the 13th Part 3 follows on from the next day of Friday the 13th Part 2 (1981) at Crystal Lake with Jason on a killing spree. The murdering continues, however in this film we get a slight history about his previous killing(s) as well as being able to see Jason put on the infamous hockey mask for the first time.
Would horror lovers enjoy this film?
These types of “stab them up” horror films of course, are not for everyone. I feel that this sub-genre in horror has changed so much in films today, that it may have not lived up to the standard that we currently have, if the film was out today. However, it wasn’t. This film series was enjoyed when it was released, and I understand that if you are a fan of the first two, then you’ll probably enjoy watching this one as well.
